Ideas to Help the Long-Term Unemployed
In an article titled The Easy Way To Avoid Long-Term Unemployment Discrimination, posted on the website Business Insider, Apollo Research Institute Vice President and Managing Director Dr. Tracey Wilen-Daugenti recommends a proactive strategy for coping with unemployment. During an interview, Dr. Wilen-Daugenti advised out-of-work individuals not to wait for their next full-time job. Formerly a CES presenter, I chose this year to observe and critique this trend as an invited guest. I explored 1.8 million square feet of exhibit space. I knew CES would promote innovation as its theme, and it came as little surprise too see convergent technologies already beginning to fuse our personal and work lives.
