I had the pleasure of appearing on Kababayan LA, Southern California’s only daily Filipino television show. I was interviewed by the show’s host, Jannelle So.

Kababayan LA is broadcast by LA 18 KSCI-TV, a TV station that serves many different Asian groups in Southern California. LA 18 reaches 6.2 million TV-equipped households and 2.9 million cable-subscribing households. The station airs news, sports, drama, and entertainment programs in 13 different languages.

During the interview, Jannelle So and I spoke about future job trends and the value of education, emphasizing points that are especially relevant to the Filipino community. For example, we talked about the high level of educational achievement of Filipino Americans. We discussed ways to go about advancing one’s career, the challenges of starting one’s own business, and how technology is changing daily work. Please watch the video.
