Introducing Apollo Research InstituteSM
Corporate research group expands partnerships to address critical issues for advancing the workforce
Welcome to the newly named Apollo Research Institute, formerly University of Phoenix Research Institute. After a groundbreaking year producing studies on critical issues of workforce advancement and the return on investment of college degrees, University of Phoenix Research Institute has expanded its research focus and changed its name to reflect its new corporate scope. Beginning November 4, 2011, the research group will operate under the name Apollo Research Institute as a division of Apollo Group, the parent company of seven leading providers of educational services worldwide, including University of Phoenix.
Apollo Research Institute will extend the scholarly research agenda of its predecessor by conducting national and metropolitan-area studies that address issues of vital importance for the workforce, including skills gaps, future career demands, and educational solutions to workforce deficits in the 21st-century. As a nonpartisan research group, the Institute will continue Apollo's collaboration with Stanford University's Media X program and the Palo Alto-based Institute for the Future as well as the industry-based nonprofit, The Manufacturing Institute. Apollo Research Institute will forge and strengthen additional affiliations with leading educational service providers such as EdLink.
Visit the newly designed Apollo Research Institute website. Publications issued prior to November 2011 will continue to bear the University of Phoenix Research Institute name during a yearlong transition period.
